AQ Series

 

 

A complete system comprising stainless steel tank and unique Heat Pump for the production of DHW by using the ambient temperature to generate enough heat to heat water.  Compared to normal electric water heaters you can expect an energy saving of around 70%. The volume range available is from 75 to 500 litres which can be adapted to all kinds of installation.

How it works

 

 

Water heating in the AQ Series is produced using integrated vents in the top of the system.

Warm air is sucked in to the system from either inside or outside the property and heat is generated by an inner heat exchanger from the circulated air. Even with -10°c outside there is still enough heat in the air for the system to work well.

Both solutions are available in a range of litre capacities, free standing or wall hung, and with other options such as higher temperature and can be plumbed in parallel to meet the demands of the most water demanding buildings.

All our solutions deliver 55 degree hot water (or 65 degrees with our High Temperature range), all day and every day regardless of the weather and consume on average 500w of power compared to Electric Boilers that use around 1,200w-1,500w.

2Water Series

 

 

2Water is an innovative world first in the Thermohydric market.  A complete system comprising stainless steel tank and panels filled with water and glycol that is used to gather warm ambient temperature outside. Unlike other Thermodynamic solutions, 2Water does not use refrigerant gas which makes it more future proof and offers a low environmental impact.  Available in capacaties from 100 litres to 500 litres.

How it works

 

 

Using the panel solution, an extremely low temperature mix of water and glycol (often used in antifreeze) circulates through the interior of the panel. As it travels through it gathers heat from the temperature outside, even if it is cold outside it is warmer than the mix. Providing the temperature is anything above -10 degrees sufficient heat is gathered – even in the dark and any weather conditions. The warmed mix is then compressed which makes it hotter and that heat is used to heat the water via a heat exchanger. After heating, the mix increases in volume and cooled as it travels through an expansion valve and the cycle starts again.

Aquatermic

 

 

This extensive range from Aquatermic also work by drawing on warm air outside to generate hot water for domestic use.  Available in 80, 100, 200, 300 litres.

How it works

 

 

The tanks must be placed in weather proof housing (Utility room, outdoor building, air brick patio etc where air can be sucked in from outside.  The reverse of this cycle is the production of cold air that must be vented outside also.  Warm air is sucked in, compressed, run through a heat exchanger and heat is transferred to a coil outside the tank which in turn heats the water.
